Evil Critic - Nickelback

Se, por acaso, de 2001 até agora, ligaram uma rádio generalista, então é incrivelmente provável que já tenham ouvido os Nickelback.

Se a ligaram duas vezes, então é igualmente provável que tenham ouvido a mesma canção. Acho que a política é só passar um single deles durante todo um ano e depois mudar. Claro que vocês os conhecem, tiveram uma estreia "bombástica" com Silver Side Up, o terceiro álbum de originais e na altura ninguém se calava. Na televisão (se são fãs de programas cómicos como o Top +), na Rádio Comercial, Best Rock, etc, etc. Foram um fenómeno, é certo. Admito, tenho esse álbum, e durante algum tempo, andei viciado naquela música, "How You Remind Me", mas felizmente melhorei.

O que há para dizer sobre estes rapazes? São rock comercial. Nada de errado com isso, se por acaso fosse assim que se classificassem. (Para falar a verdade, percebo porque é que nenhuma banda gosta de ser catalogada assim. Parece mal) De qualquer modo, os seus 15 minutos de fama parecem durar há muito (talvez demasiado) tempo. Vê-se que querem manter-se à tona da água, porque todos os álbuns que lançam parecem o mesmo disco. E talvez tenham razão. Talvez os Nickelback sejam daquelas coisas inevitáveis na vida, como a morte ou filas de espera. Deixo-vos com as hostilidades.
